Lianhe Zaobao reported that Lee Hsien Loong posted on Facebook last night that he often found that whenever there were many media reports on his important speeches or major announcements, scammers would " take advantage of the situation " and use his photos for Crypto Scam and False advertising.
“ If an ad uses my photo to sell you a product, asks you to invest in a project, or even uses my voice to ask you to wire money, that’s not me. ” He pointed out that similar fraudulent advertisements have appeared in the past few days, and he thanked some vigilant Singaporeans for taking the time to write articles to remind him.
“ I have seen some of these myself when I was surfing the Internet and I have reported these False advertisements to the relevant authorities. ” Lee Hsien Loong attached a screenshot and advised the public not to respond to scams, fake news or advertisements if they encounter them .
