

On March 21 , Thailand's cyber police successfully raided and cracked down on three large online gambling websites in Chiang Rai Province and arrested the relevant administrators. According to police investigations, the total annual turnover of these gambling websites exceeds 700 million baht.
the action instructions of the investigation team of the Central Technical Crime Investigation Department ( TCSD ) of Thailand, the police, under the authorization of the Chiang Rai Provincial Court, searched the resort in Ban Du Town, Muang District, Chiang Rai Province, and successfully arrested Nattawut Saiwong , a 36- year-old man from Phrae Province . During the search, the police seized important evidence including a computer, two mobile phones and a bank account book.
searched another suspected crime house in Village 12 , Pateng Township, Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province , and arrested Phongsakon Khemawong , a 26 -year-old man , and Rattikarn Bangngen , a 27- year-old woman from Chiang Rai Province . They were also charged with operating a gambling website, and the police seized a computer, two laptops, two mobile phones and other evidence.
The police said that this action was in response to the government's policy to crack down on illegal online gambling activities. According to the investigation results, three gambling websites in Chiang Rai 'Province': IMBA369 , ROYAL BET and TIME DELEY , provide a variety of online gambling services including slot machines, fishing, card games, baccarat, dice, tiger dragon, live casino, lottery and sports betting.
The investigation shows that IMBA369 is operated by Nattawu Saiwong , who is responsible for making the website's promotional images. The website has more than 14,000 members, with a monthly turnover of more than 50 million baht and an annual turnover of more than 600 million baht. Nattawu Saiwong has been engaged in advertising and accounting for more than 4 years and earns 30,000 baht per month.
Phongsakon Khemawong and Rattikarn Bangngen are administrators of ROYAL BET and TIME DELEY websites, respectively . The total number of members of these two websites exceeds 50,000 , and the annual turnover exceeds 100 million baht. They are responsible for website marketing and customer service, and have been engaged in this work for more than 1 year, and receive a monthly salary of 15,000 baht.
The police have filed charges against the three suspects for " organizing illegal gambling activities, inducing others to participate in gambling " and " engaging in online gambling activities without the permission of the authorities " . The police said that the operation is still ongoing and relevant departments will continue to intensify the crackdown on similar criminal activities .
