
March 3 , Thai Prime Minister Petunthan issued a strict order at a high-level cabinet meeting to prevent telecom fraud gangs from using Thailand as an evacuation route. The Prime Minister personally visited the Thai-Cambodian border and demonstrated his firm determination to combat fraud activities. Various government departments responded positively and successfully strengthened network control measures. At the same time, this action was fully assisted by the police, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the Ministry of Defense, etc., and achieved tangible results.
Prime Minister Petunthan stressed that all departments must maintain efficient communication to ensure that they can quickly coordinate with the government to resolve difficulties. He called for the acceleration of the investigation of the construction of the Thai-Cambodian border wall to prevent illegal border crossings. The Prime Minister also instructed the Customs and Finance Departments to study whether it is necessary to purchase X-ray equipment to improve the efficiency of border inspections. In addition, the Prime Minister called for the installation of more monitoring equipment to increase the coverage of monitoring and strengthen the crackdown on online fraud activities.
